I laid off a good amount of my workforce starting in 2023. It was a strategic move. I’ve replaced most of these junior folks with AIs. My agency’s expenses have been reduced by 75% as a result.
The old model is: we’re growing, we need to hire. The new model is: we’re growing, we need to invest in automation/AI software.
This requires habit formation because, yes, the initial energy cost of trying out new software is higher compared to the routine hiring processes we’ve been following for years now.
My plan to reinforce this new behavior is to constantly try out new tools and produce content out of them, showcasing the systems or workflows I’ve built.
I'll start selling these solutions as ready-made packages and initiate an automation/AI agency this year to experiment and refine these skills.
The core of this strategy is that I’ll be building an army of bots commanded by a few technocrats. This is how future businesses will be structured.
Nowadays, you have a few smart folks at the top, and parasites feeding from the bottom. Entrepreneurs play the 'how to get rich off my clients' game, employees play the 'how to get rich from my employer' game. It doesn’t scale. Bots will fix this issue. This will lead to an entrepreneurial society. The world will improve as a result.
