This gets me wondering, “How am I able to charge my clients 2X less than the competition?” Definitely not because I deliver 2X less. If anything, the contrary.
Back in the days, I used to charge less because I did not pay a 3k/month office. This has become the norm nowadays. Everything’s remote.
Nowadays, what I find is that most of my competitors will outsource you the bill of their expensive staff. They are just bad at HR and finding top talent for a top price.
Recruiting locally / nationally does have a price, and it does not always mean more quality.
Worse, you’ll see my competition charge 2.5k/month, just because, well, they have 2 additional cofounders on the salary table. The alternative of not charging you this amount is having the cofounders work at part-time job, which is still not good news for you.
