reflecting every now and then about your existing client base can be a good exercise. How did they get there? Why did they buy?
Most of mine unsurprisingly come from cold email. Most of them are young and tech savvy. They’re oddballs that want to make it big.
They run hold co’s → a portfolio of startup and have big ambitions for themselves. They’re not much different from me: visionary, energetic and smart.
Now, how can I tailor my copy and my targeting to fit this ICP better?
Copy: continue writing as I talk. add value always. be a man of few words.
Targeting: target nascent industry and keywords that young / new folks will use.
Search keywords like “hold co”, “serial entrepreneur”, target some specific years of graduation.
Target folks that target these folks as their ICP. Invite them to pods.
Reflect on who were your clients this year and how you can get more of them the next.
