our first physical mastermind

was a success

I met yesterday with 8 CEOs/Founders in Montreal and it was quite amazing.

We started with some Oaxaquenian coffee, followed by an efficient gym and a 5k run to the spa.

We went to a spa for around 4 hours, threw ourselves in the frozen Saint-Lawrence river and stayed in the hottest steam sauna I’ve been in yet.

We walked and talked to the restaurant. I had great smoked meat pizza + a fine espresso to keep the brainstorm going.

We finished it off at the cool Airbnb my friend Sunny rented. It was spacious and conductive for ideas.

After a round table and thoughtful questions, i had to head to a goodbye supper with my family, but it was amazing, and I came out with multiple actionable ideas:

• starting a business with Joe Rogan and Lex Friedman pod guests

• close in the loop with SEO and remarketing for my own business

• market to larger businesses / more “complex close” audiences

I talked about:

• the wisdom of pain

• the moat of podcasting

• how to 0 to 1 faster than ever

Next mastermind will be a tad more structured as we were quite tight on time, but I think that was also fun to be able to chillax together. The views at the spa were breathtaking.
