I Accidentally Built The Founder Podcast I Wanted To Listen To
A New Obsession
I’ve been building a fun YouTube project lately:
https://www.youtube.com/@thegreatspod
The idea is simple.
Take the most interesting founders, investors, operators, athletes, and builders in the world and compress their stories into something you can consume over lunch.
A few recent episodes:
Michael Truell — built Cursor into a company reportedly worth $60B in under 4 years
Anton Osika — $200M ARR with 15 employees at Lovable
Jason Calacanis — turned a $25K Uber investment into a fortune
Cyan Banister — from homelessness to legendary venture capitalist
Guillermo Rauch — built the infrastructure behind a huge percentage of modern AI startups
Dino Mavrookas — Navy SEAL building a multi-billion-dollar defense company
What I realized is that most people spend hours consuming content and learn very little.
I’d rather spend 30 minutes understanding how exceptional people think.
Not just founders from 100 years ago.
The people building the future right now.
The format is intentionally simple:
deeply researched
fast paced
no fluff
no filler
all signal
I’ve been listening to these while eating lunch and the information sticks surprisingly well.
If you’re into founders, AI, investing, business, performance, or just studying people operating at the highest level, I think you’ll enjoy it.

If there’s someone extraordinary I should cover next, send me their name.

I would love to know how you set this up!! This is great
