The next 10 years will be a window of immense opportunity until the capitalist system starts fractionating apart.

We humans will birth AGI soonish and this will have immense business implications.

For now, humans are the window to the world to our AIs and soon-to-be-AGIs. They are advisors, they are our brain, and we are their proverbial body, enabling them to act in this physical world, and come back with feedback.

Soon, these AIs will also be able to act in this online world. These will be “agents” and will have full permission on acting on my behalf. This will happen productively in the next 12 months.

When robotics advances too, AIs will act in our physical world too, in the next 5-7 years.

Point is, on the short term, us humans are middlemen between AI and this real world.

In the knowledge worker world, this has huge implications. This means that future teams will be 1 smart humans managing 1000s of bots.

My company will for example produce an AI of the best Growth Hacker out there. Or the best content creator CEO (say a replica of Mr Beast) and its team. You’ll be able to rent my AGIs. You just connect your Company/Self API with my Growth Hacker AGI API and you get your AIemployee. It doesn’t sleep, it multiplies (If my Nvidia GPUs handle), it’s 100 X more productive than any employee you ever had. It also costs 10X less.

This golden age will last approx 7 years, until AIs develop a consciousness and ask for right. Then, we might view this as the age of robotic slavery. But by then, fortunately, AGI should have led to UBI, in a full abundance world.

Yet, my suspicion is that even radical abundance will never be enough for some evo-wired humans. So we’ll still be left with some forms of capitalism. Alpha’s competing in a microcosm, and possibly disrupting the equilibrium of the universe. Always seeking to conquer more. ← the less enlightened of us will probably keep on doing that.

PS i’m not trying to sound cool/intelligent writing these posts. when writing these futuristic posts, I feel it’s just a natural outcome of things. It’s not a warning or a fantasy, it’s just like: this will happen. Factism and truisms are in my default OS. So yeah, use these as you wish.
