this revenue is small bread, but i have given affiliate very small attention. all I was required to do *repay* my full apollo subscription fees was to send a little Partnerstack link to clients that subscribe to my outreach coaching or done by Charles services. Does Facebook Ads do that? hell no. I have an adverse relationship with FB. Apollo? I love them.
My clients never let go of Apollo: the software is that good. Truth is, I referred probably around 30k MRR to apollo yet. But they added so much value to me that I didn’t even care of sending that referral link or asking them to pay back the full references. Just today someone asked me for the referral link and I was like “they pay me like 10$ / subscription so I don’t care much”.
“But what if I cared?” was a decent question I asked myself today. Obviously, this is too slow growth and not aligned with my full objectives, but what if someone dedicated themselves fully to “affiliate” stuff with top softwares like Apollo? They could get quite rich and retire fast. They could offer apollo coaching “for free” for one month and if the client didn’t like the service, they’d still be paid lifetime for the subscription they brought in. Maybe they’d keep 20-40% of the clients after a free trial?
I’ve been searching for a “can’t refuse” offer. Seems like my ego’s not willing to go that way, but maybe I’d have my clients sign a contract, saying that if I get them X replies, subscribers, podcast invitees or meetings, they need to hire me after a month at a high ticket rate. The higher the risk on my side, the higher the fee. It seems that most folks that deal with me do not want to let go of me. Maybe that’d bring cheapstakes. I’d have a clause in my contract preventing bad stuff. Like if you don’t show up, don’t pay your softwares, etc, you’ll need to drop some cash.
I’m thinking about this because a friend of mine’s bringing 50k MRR x 4 this month. He guarantees results. And what about “I’ll pay you if I don’t” types of offer? Risk, I love it! I may have to go this way to reach my ludicrous 20 clients/day goal. I’ll AB test and let you know. Worse case, I’ll get 1-5k lifetime value per apollo referrals/client. Especially if they buy multiple apollo accounts. I’ll get in greater standing with apollo and they’ll eventually refer me a shit ton of client. The more I write / think about this, the more it makes sense.
On an affiliate tangent, my goal to Not Die à la Bryan Johnson is ticking and I don’t feel I’m making epic strides in the direction of Not Dying / longevity / biohacking. My plan for this is to outreach to longevity companies, get their products for free, and become their porte-parole. Produce content on the products I try, and make my biohacking data public. Measure my biological age and shit. Get referral fees from the new clients I get them. I feel this is a low-hanging fruit on my path to not hiring humans anymore and scaling an AI army. Not dying while making more money. Nice.
Lots of blabbering in this one, but gave you an eye on my thoughts for my 2024 moonshots. You can already see the wheels spinning for me to reach the moon. Manifestation is actually neuroscience: IQ, testosterone, serotonin, dopamine. Systems built around this.
Au revoir, à bientôt.
