so I started scraping all top podcast’s guests lately, and it dawned on me: why not have me invited to these top podcasts?
So I started strategizing: how does one do that? Easiest strat on Earth: inviting these top podcast hosts to my podcast.
Some of them require more love than others, but I ultimately get 20% of them to accept. Usually to 15 minutes calls. Mostly because of my confidence/IQ.
I then hammer home these points for them to give me a spot on their pod:
“hey there, think I'd be a good guest fit on your pod to talk:
how I generate 75+ meetings/week with my podcast flywheel system
what mindset hacks I learned from running ultra's and ironman's
what I learned masterminding with 1k+ top CEOs
what I learned from generating 21k meetings/month
lessons from managing 1000+ humans these last 7 years
what product-market-fit I've seen starting more than 67 startups in the last decade
biohacking -> eating once a day: pizza.
let me know when we can book something to discuss that.”
If they refuse, I suggest bringing them A1 guests on their pods or, better, top sponsors. I scrapped all the top 1000 podcasts sponsors in 2023 for that.
If they refuse, their lost frankly, but I understand :)
Some folks would tell me that folks like Tim Ferris would never want me on, and I’d agree, yet it doesn’t mean in my alternative reality that I’d add value to Tim’s audience. I have the odd stories, I have the energy and the skill to educate. So in theory I’d be a net value add.
Now vs. Tim’s guests? I’d lose most of the time, sure, but my mindset is the following: always try and learn. Experiment and grow.
As I’m getting top pods to accept me, more top podcasts will accept. So much so that I’ll hit tier 1 podcasts in less than 2 years.
It’s all about self belief and reality bending.
