4 reasons why I'm still bullish on LinkedIn Newsletters
organic growth, simplicty, additional channel
If you're seeking to learn how to set up your LinkedIn Newsletter, follow this article I made. But start reading the "why" first here.
LinkedIn disabled its auto-subscribe function in 2023 for spam concerns, but I'm still bullish on its newsletter feature because I am getting a bunch of new daily subscribers from the content that I post.
1- LinkedIn is the only "non-email based" b2b newsletter tool out there, and it won't stop surprising me on the growth level. I can immediately reach 3k+ of my followers here, right on LinkedIn. If you're starting a newsletter here, you can still message your 1st degree connexions to have them subscribe to it.
2- Email deliverability has taken a major hit this year and this is why this in-app newsletter is powerful. It shows up organically in feeds and will pop-up if you write some keywords. Even if you are not a subcriber of mine.
3- There is low competition here on LinkedIn, most people do not know how to set up a LinkedIn newsletter.
4- It's a somewhat simple and elegant-looking tool. and it's free! Supply your actual email newsletter with this LinkedIn Newsletter, there isn't much to lose :)
The result: you'll get much interaction and even leads from these newsletters. Just like every CEO should have a podcast nowadays, every CEO should have a simple newsletter tool. LinkedIn is that.
