Sales is going through adolescence nowadays.
The Jordan Belfort days being gone, even “lead gen” days and Mozi are meant for extinction in the next 5 years.
Sales are merging with product and becoming more win+win.
Here are 3 sales trends that’ll keep on giving in the next 5 years.
podcasting
I’m using podcasting as a front-end to my backend sales funnel. I’m getting insights, growing valuable connections that eventually become my audience and clients. 10% conv. rate in the least lucky case. If I’m interviewing 10 CEO a day like I currently do, that’s 1 sale per day. If not and if I’m high ticket, 3 interviews/week is enough to generate me 1 big fat client per month. Podcasting’s a win+win and a fantastic way to build communities..
communities
“I am nothing without my community” you’ll hear me say that often. A community’s also another major win+win. A community’s there to give you feedback, insights, tech suggestions, employees, sales and even partnerships..
partnerships
I’ll do podcast guest booking as a service for you, and you’ll do Fractional CTO work for me. I’ll feature you on my podcast in exchange for your monthly coaching. I’ll have you in my paid lvl97.com mastermind for free in exchange for your agency running ads for me. Service exchange and win+win partnership are the present and the future in sales. They’re just complex and messy, which is why I’m AB testing multiple concepts and might even launch a partnership agency soon. TBC.
